Cambridge English Grammar in Use by Raymond Murphy. The first section on Past and present is free.(If you want to do other tenses in this app, you need to buy it.) Do the 5 exercises in Unit 6 (Past Continuous), then write a paragraph of 8 lines to say:

  • how useful this was for learning English and why
  • how easy the app was to use
  • how interesting the app was
  • if you would use the app again

The 5 exercises in Unit 6 is easy for me, so I don't like to use it again. I would like to learn something hard a bit to challenge myself and train my brain to think. However, this Unit  is useful for the people learning English for the beginner because it has lessons to explain and has also easy exercises to do.

1. British Council Learn English. Some parts of this app are free. Download the Professionals Podcasts series 1 then listen to Episode 3, an interview between two students talking about genetically modified food. Listen to the interview and answer the 6 questions in the exercise. After that, write a paragraph of 8 lines to say

  • how useful this was for learning English and why
  • how easy the app was to use
  • how interesting the app was
  • if you would use the app again
  1. Frank thinks Ann has been influenced by the newspapers. True
  2. Frank thinks non-GM foods are safer than GM foods.False
  3. Scientists have worked out a way of introducing a vaccine into bananas. True
  4. Ann thinks food companies will make money out of feeding poor countries. True
  5. Frank thinks Ann is being negative. True

This app is useful  for  learning  English because it helps  to improve listening skill and reading skill. It is easy to listen because they speak with clear pronunciation and can help  the students to pronounce some word correctly by copy them. Also, it has subtitle to help students while they are talking. More over, it has exercise to test your listening. It is so interesting because it has many listen series and all series have many episodes.Every episodes have languages that people use everyday  , workplace and include some new words  as well. I would use it again and I will explore another episodes.
